Reviews for Apple iPod contact sixteen GB (1st Generation) OLD MODEL (Electronics) I'd like to make one thing clear from the beginning: this instrument is the absolute best portable media participant I've held to date (I got mine on Sept 25th). *This* is how it must be achieved. That doesn't mean that it can't be better (this evaluate presentations a lot of misses), but in the iPod Touch so many just right things come together the best way, it's embarassing how clumsy all the different softwares appear (other iPods included). I truly have in depth expertise with a myriad of completely different gamers (I own(ed) *lots* of these: Nomad, iRiver, Zen, Rio, iPods, Zune) and now that I'm clinging it, it's blindingly evident how a lot better the model new interface works. I am truly happy with this iPod. Still, there are some annoyances, idiosyncracies and downright silly barriers on this software.

So, let's begin:
First - unless you will have not too long ago held a new 'Nano', you will not belive how skinny the Touch is. The glass floor really feels different from my iPod Classic (yeah, I'm a *serious* MP3 player addict, and have that one, too). I cannot in level of fact put my finger on it (it's arduous to withstand puns like that), but it really feels a bit of softer when tapping it with your finger nail. Surprisingly (for me at least) the Touch does not reply to finger nails - it's necessary to contact the pores and skin with your finger's pores and skin. This can firstly be confusing when you are used to pressure-sensitive contact-screens, and can change into difficult when the utilization of the digital keyboard. The touch-sensitive font plate has (so far) proven to be scratch-resistant (i've been carrying it round in my pocket for the earlier three days).
In my hand it feels exceedingly hefty (sonsidering it is sleekness), and it is now noticeably longer than the Classic. Like most different iPods, the Touch has a polished againside that magically appeal to fingerprints. This againplate also clings the custom-made engraving that Apple utilized totally free to my iPod.

The headphone connector is on the bottom, and settle fors any customary headphone jack (unlike the iPhone). The position of the connector would have been annyoing in the event you needed to make use of it upright in a gym (natch, iPod nano!).
Reviews for Apple iPod contact 8 GB (1st Generation) OLD MODEL (Electronics) Well, let me begin by using announcing that I ordered the Touch on a lark. Got it direct from Apple with free engraving on the back. I must say that it is a really enjoyable toy, at eightGB its simply big sufficient to hang my song assortment (6GB), a couple of videos and still have area to cache some video flows, barely! As mentioned in different locations, the interface is moderately cute and progressive.
Reviews for Apple iPod touch eight GB (1st Generation) OLD MODEL (Electronics) I've had it for a few days now (8GB version). I chose it over the eightGB Nano because I figured the additional bells and whistles (larger screen, touch sensitivity, wi-fi, and so forth.) have been price an additional hundred bucks. I will share a couple of things I've discovered in my first week of possession. First, the vulnerable factors (which most of the people wish to hear first): Sound quality is on par with the Nano however does not appear as just right as my wife's iPod video. Wallpaper can best show when unit is popping out of sleep mode, shopping while track is enjoying causes track to prevent, the reveal will doubtless be a horrid mess of greasy finger prints after just a number of minutes of use, there is no visible solution to decide charging standing with out pushing a howeverton for the rationale that screen goes completely black when charging. Video seems more pixelated and now not as sharp or crisp as the brand new Nano (They're no lengthyer mendacity after they say the Nano has the sharpest show of all iPods.) The lack of accessories hurts, mainly as a consequence of I'd love to duvet the smudge-prone body more than anything else. Also, the dimensions of this skinnyg mainly scream "drop me" and I'm clumsy sufficient to do it if I do not get a just right belt clip or as a minimum enough protection to confidently slide it in my pocket. As for the great things: Wi-fi was once super-easy to configure and I get a robust signal all over my three-story house. I like the net shopping. Pinching to zoom and adjusting web pages together with your finger makes browsing the tiny monitor so much a lot more uncomplicated.
