The ipod integration? some other key function, however can be higher, it truly works pleased with my 5th gen, however refuses to appear my iphone.
Menu integration on the ipod is honest at best, but thats the fault of the person interface, the identical interface with a cool ipod-like extent swirl motion that sadly as others have said does everything but modify the amount, when you might be taking note of the radio, and also you aren't good within the 'volume swirl motion' it will exchange your channel. What I preferred about this unit is you may just have a video out. You can hook up your headrest screens and if in case you will have a sport device (Xbox, PS, Wii...what have you) that you may just hook it as so much as the video in that it has to provide as smartly (with full playback to your headrests). This simply means that you can have direct joinion to your cars audio system.
Dvd Playback. It is very good. Turn the auto off, it would start proper back up the situation it left off.
Bluetooth. My boyfriend has a Pioneer DEH-P9800BT which I installed as smartly (A nice unit should you do not require Dvd play back). Unlike the pioneer unit there is no mic to install anyplace and the standard still sounds pretty good on each finishs. Doesn't topic what supply you are using Bluetooth will warn you when anyone is asking by using pausing your track/video and displaying the caller Id. You can settle for or decline.
AM/FM. I was a little bit upset that the unit didn't have RDS. I have been using a issuey unit that had it and kind of leave out that characteristic. Seemed like a function they might have brought.
Ipod. Heres the situation I am on the fence. I had been using a fm transmitter for my ipod and finally wished direct join as a result of I may not take the quality anymore. I purchased an Apple Composite AV Cable (THIS WORKS JUST AS GOOD AS A JVC KSU20 CABLE) Of direction, The quality used to be three00% better than earlier than. However, The Interface is just a little slow.

Cover art is a disappointment. JVC promotes that they display iPod duvet art, however there are three caveats. One, no duvet art except the parking brake is on (there's manners around that... Google is your friend). Two, can't display quilt artwork full reveal (its most effective postage stamp measurement). Three, the tiny duvet artwork display is so blurry that you can't even make out the picture. This is completely contradictory to the video shows which can be sharp and crisp. I'm hoping for a firmware replace sooner or later to repair these flaws.
The touch show on the top unit is a fab function however not truly practical when you are riding. Your finger slides all over swirling around the dial to increase/decrease the quantity. Fortunately it comes with a nice far off which I use as an alternative.
I hooked up Sirius satellite and am pleased with the way the unit handles that as well. Let's you navigate channels by using class, or just one-by-one.
This unit replaces an Alpine popup display unit that I had for five yrs. I'm for sure impressed through the scale of the AVX44 show for a single DIN unit. I'd counsel this unit for the chilliness issue, and just right iPod integration.
